Condition
All features and specs has been tested and there are working properly. Although there are traces of usage, but concurrent with its age, we can say that this camera is still good condition and fires it shutter accordingly, inner and outer part is clean (see photos). Bulb setting mode work fluently too. We rated this camera 8/10. A little dent that won't affect the camera operation can be seen on top of the camera
Apart from that, this camera is bundled with MC Zenitar M2s 50mm lens with maximum aperture of f/2.0. Lens is clean with lens cap is provided. No oil stain at the blades, focusing ring turns accordingly, aperture open and close smoothly at all f-value. Besides that, I have replaced the light seals with a new one, so you don't have to worry. Just load film in it and shoot!. Oh ya, we will provide you with soft copy of the camera manual.
As for your information, this camera was actually need to be coupled with Tessar 2.8 / 50 Carl Zeiss Jena lens that have separate aperture diaphragm presetting device. As the consequences, with MC Zenitar M2s lens, this feature is not available. Therefore you may only use this camera with its maximum aperture which is f/2.0 only. However, if you want to operate this lens as it should (f/2.0 - f//16) with this Praktica KW, you may request it from me, and I'll modify the Depth of Field preview mechanism inside the lens but its capabilities to preview DOF in other camera will be omitted.
This is the first M42 camera after all, with Waist level viewfinder for the winner. Bundled with a wonderful modern lens. I believed, this camera will add another collection in your M42s series, plus a wonderful second body as well.
P/S: It is better to use this camera instead of buying Gakkenflex TLR, and Blackbird Fly TLR, but if you're looking for hype-hype cameras, then they suit you. As from my observation, try to pair this camera setup with a ASA/ISO 400 film for indoor scenery, you'll be a champion.
